Lisa Esposito
Lisa Esposito founded Evolution Dance Center in 2009. From a very young age Lisa knew she wanted to run a dance school and bring the love of dance to the community. She trained in ballet, tap, and jazz. She danced throughout high school and college in all styles of dance. Her favorite performance was with Anaheim Ballet in The Nutcracker! She attended her first dance convention at age 14 and they allowed her to sit in on a studio owner workshop. That was the day she knew she would one day run a dance school.
Reflecting back on the many dancers that have shared their love of dance within the walls of Evolution Dance Center, gives her an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the amazing EDC community. Watching EDC Alumni attend college dance programs, dance professionally and stay connected to each other has been very fulfilling. Dance friends truly make the best friends. Watching her EDC dancers make special bonds while they dance their way through life is very special.
Fun fact, Lisa has a degree in biochemistry and cell biology and also runs Performance Solar which has brought solar pool heating to more than 20,000 families in San Diego County!
